Tap "Log a pour" on the home screen on a phone, or in the header on a larger screen, or go to /journal/new. Pick the beer, add your rating and notes, then tap Save entry.
Open the Beers catalog, find the beer, and tap Add to beer fridge — on a phone it is the box icon beside Pour this beer. Set how many, and if you like the date, the price, where you bought it and which fridge it goes in, then tap Add.
Yes, on the website and in the Android app. Export for insurance builds a dated PDF — an Insurance Inventory Report — listing every beer you hold with its style, quantity, date added, where you bought it and the price you entered per beer, with a total at cost. Beers without a recorded price are still listed and left out of the total. Find it in the ⋮ menu on your Beer Fridge page on a phone, in the Beer Fridge header on a larger screen, or under Collection in Settings.
No. Its total is the sum of the purchase prices you recorded, in US dollars — not an appraisal, a market valuation or a replacement cost, and the report says so. Most insurers ask for more, including receipts, photographs and appraisals, so check it against what yours asks for.
Yes, if you keep them in the other Vaults on the same account. Each comes in as its own section with its own subtotal, under one total across everything you hold.
Vault Passport is the progress record that connects Cigar, Liquor, Wine, Beer and Coffee Vault under one account. You earn XP by logging entries, adding to your fridge, publishing reviews, logging a new brand or type for the first time, and taking part in the forum and community. Each Vault keeps its own XP and tier, all of it also counts towards your Passport tier, and badges are earned separately for specific things.
In Community, tap the search icon (Find people on a larger screen) and search by name or username, then tap Follow. If they approve followers first, they get a request instead. Choose Following at the top of the Community feed to see only the people you follow.
Type # in a post, comment, forum thread or message, then a few letters of the name. Pick a beer, a beer garden or any entry from your own journal, however old, and it becomes a link to it. A # on its own lists your latest entries.
Type @ and the start of their name or username, then pick them from the list. People you follow come first. In a post, comment or forum thread, they get a notification unless they have turned off Mentions of me. In a private message, the @name is just text and sends no notification.
Yes, even though the comment box has no photo button. Paste a picture or GIF into the box, or send one from your keyboard's GIF search, and it attaches to the comment. Each comment holds one. It works when you edit a comment too, and in posts, forum replies and messages.
Yes: tap the Pick for me card on your beer fridge page. Choose Quick pick, from what is in your beer fridge right now, or By pairing, to match a cigar you have on hand. The arrows step through its picks, and Reroll brings new ones.
In the Beers catalog, tap the filter icon and pick one or more Tasting notes. The list then shows only beers with every note you picked. Turn on Not yet rated as well to leave out the ones you have already rated.
Use the search box at the top of the Community feed or the forum. As you type, pick a suggestion to search by beer, brand, lounge or member. Tap Filters to narrow it to posts with photos, a date range or, in the forum, threads with a poll.
Tap the badge. In your badge gallery, on a member's profile or Passport, and on a badge milestone in the feed, it opens a card that says what the badge is for, who earned it and when, and, where progress can be counted, how close you are.
Open the post, tap the ⋯ menu at the top and choose Mute this thread. New comments and replies on it stop notifying you, but you will still hear if someone @mentions you there. Unmute this thread turns them back on.
In Settings, go to Danger zone at the bottom and tap Delete account, then confirm. It is permanent: your journal, your beer fridge, your XP and the rest of your account are erased and cannot be recovered.
New journal entries are public by default. To keep one private, switch off its public toggle before you save; to make private the default, turn off Default public journal notes under Privacy in Settings. The same section controls whether your profile and your beer fridge are public, and whether people need your approval to follow you. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
